KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - The Malaysian national men's football squad, affectionately known as the Harimau Malaya, has achieved a significant milestone, officially breaking into the world's Top 120 teams in the latest FIFA World Ranking update.

The national team has soared five places to clinch the 118th position globally, a testament to the hard work and recent successes under the guidance of head coach Peter Cklamovski.

This impressive leap in the rankings follows a successful run of matches, particularly two stylish victories over Laos in the recent 2027 Asian Cup Qualifiers. The results allowed Harimau Malaya to accumulate 1,161.53 points in the updated ranking.
