The Ultimate Prize: Hakim Danish Turns Moto3 Wildcard Dream into a Full-Season 2026 Contract with MSi Racing Team

SEPANG, Malaysia - The atmosphere at the Sepang International Circuit on November 26, 2025, was electric. For Malaysian fans, the focal point was 18-year-old Hakim Danish Ramli, making his highly anticipated Moto3 World Championship debut as a wildcard rider for the AEON Credit SIC Racing MSI team.

Danish, who had impressed all weekend, started the race from a respectable 13th position. He was not just there to make up the numbers; he was battling right in the thick of the action, using the experience gained from his remarkable season in JuniorGP and the Red Bull Rookies Cup.

He held his nerve in the opening laps, carving his way forward against the world's best. By the mid-point of the shortened, intense race, Danish had climbed to 11th place, a stunning achievement for a rider on his home debut. He was holding his own, pushing his KTM machine to the limit.

Then, disaster struck.

With five laps remaining, the bike suddenly slowed. A technical issue forced him to pull off the track. His race was over. He was credited with a Did Not Finish (DNF) in the official results.

Stepping off the bike, the disappointment was clear. The dream of a scoring finish at his home GP was gone. However, speaking to the media afterward, his perspective was mature: "The feeling of racing with the main championship riders, they are so fast... it was a huge experience for me. I learned so much about bike control at this high level. I will use this to prepare for next season."

Despite the DNF due to a technical issue at his home wildcard race, Hakim Danish has secured a full-time professional seat in the 2026 Moto3 World Championship.
